My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Birthdate: 4/25/17

Breed: One of a kind

Weight:  54.6

Step aside and drum roll, please, because bounding into the scene is the always-effervescent Zora! Bursting with energy and a zest for life, our sweet gal Zora loves nothing more than taking a leisurely walk and admiring the beauty of the great outdoors. Zora knows just how to appreciate the simple joys, like the feel of fresh grass under her paws or the thrilling sight of a squirrel in a nearby tree!

Who loves to play? You guessed it, Zora! Toys, you ask? The squeakier, the better! But when she's done frolicking and making the most of her playtime, she instantly morphs into the ultimate cuddle companion, always eager for a cozy snuggle. And, oh, wait until you see her signature move—sitting down like an absolute pro. Every time she nails it, it’s just too adorable for words!

Meet the charming, love-filled girl that is Zora. She's the sweetest, friendliest dog around, who’s ready to make friends, offer love, and spread her joyful spirit.

Before you can adopt, please complete an adoption application on our website at pawscrossedny.org/dog-adoption-application! Once your application is approved, you will be able to call to schedule an appointment. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for approved applicants.

The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
