What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Meet Mr Moose! This goofy guy is full of energy and would thrive in a home where he will get enough physical and mental stimulation. When he’s not running around outside or playing tug of war, he loves to snuggle up on his bed or on the couch. He loves when food is shared with him, some favorites include carrots, bell peppers, frozen berries, apples, and ice. He would love to go to a home with a backyard where he can sunbathe and play in sprinkler in the summer, and play in the snow in the winter. He has a couple rough spots that should be easy enough to smooth out with some training, so, for the time being, it would be best for him to be the only dog in the home. He has also decided recently that (some) strangers are a bit scary. We have done a bit of training with him and our trainer said that he just needs more socialization and exposure to new environments, but assures us that he is a sweet and smart boy who has so much potential! Please reach out with any questions!
