Meet Winona- a beautiful tortie female kitten who is 4 months old. She was found living with her stray mamma near a home on Warren Ave in new Smyrna Beach. That is when we knew she needed a better life and got her and her family into foster care.
PERSONALITY: She is such a SWEET girl. Once you start petting her she we purr and purr and want more. She can be a little shy at first but warms up very easily. She loves to play and loves to get attention.
She is using the cat box well and eating lots of wet food. Twice daily .Read at the very bottom to learn why it is actually vital for cats to get wet food daily (and why limiting the crappy dry food is key).
VETTING: As of Thursday Jan 25th, she will be spayed, given rabies and distemper vaccine, dewormed, microchipped and already has flea prevention on. You can meet her BEFORE her vet appointment OR another day after her appointment on Jan 25th. But she can’t go to her forever home until Jan 25th or after.

-If you want to adopt
: 1) please show up with cat carrier.
2) We give you copies of all forms.
3) we take photo of you and newly adopted pet.
4) we go over pet education packet as we do with anyone who adopts from us so you have a successful adoption.
5) adoption fee $100 (she will be spayed, has rabies and distemper vaccine,, microchipped, & dewormed).
6) We take any kitty back if it isn’t working out . But all kittens need time to adjust

(More on wet food) Pease remember; our cats have a low thirst drive and NEED the moisture in the wet food. Since wet food is 75% moisture and dry food only 10%, that is huge for our felines. Cats need wet food daily to avoid a lot of dehydration related medical problems long term like urinary tract issues which can lead to litter box ovoidance and kidney disease or obesity issues linked to diabetes..
****How much?**** At least one (3oz. can a day but 2 cans recommended) or 1/2 of a 5oz. Can of Friskies pate wet food a day (although one full can, half in morning and other half at night, is recommended ).
