Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Butch
Butch is a tri-color German Shepherd mix pup, born December 3, 2023. He was born with a congenital defect and his right eye is smaller than his left eye. It seems to us that he is most likely completely blind in his right eye but the other works fine and it doesn't slow him down. He is very smart and very loyal. He wants to be your best friend and is a typical Shepherd. Butch loves being with his people all times and is happiest in your lap. This sweet boy is great with other dogs and kids of all ages.
All ARRF adoptees will have up-to-date shots, be microchipped, and will have been spayed/neutered when they become adoptable. Puppies should be good with gentle children, dogs, and cats. All puppies will need to be housetrained.
Puppies need attention, so prospective adopters should have someone either at home during the day or be able to make frequent visits during the day. ARRF strongly encourages puppy adopters to enroll in positive reinforcement classes as early as possible. It will make a tremendous difference in your mutual appreciation and enjoyment of each other.
If this pup needs to meet you and become part of your family, contact Dana at dkmikel@gmail.com, or call or text 760-519-5532. He is being fostered in the Carlsbad area of San Diego County.
