My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Romeo, and I am a 2-3 year Pom mix. My foster family thinks it may be Husky or American Eskimo. I am a light guy at 17 lbs. I am just a big snuggle bug, I love snuggling with my foster family, whether on the couch, floor, or the bed. I am very gentle with the Pomeranian pack that I currently live with; they are all males. I do prefer male dogs over female dogs. I would also prefer a home without children under 13 years old. I like running in the yard and chasing my foster brothers. The foster home has many toys to play with, and I will toss them around and play tug-of-war. My favorite thing is when they are not looking to see how many toys I can relocate to the backyard. I am a little food-aggressive with other dogs, so I prefer my own space to eat. I love my morning treats and bedtime treats, and if you are late, I will talk to you to let you know that I need a treat fix.

I am learning much better how to go potty outside. I do occasionally still mark in the house, but my foster family is correcting me on this. I do have nerves when going to a new place and it takes me a few days to adjust to a new location and learn the rules. I will run away if given the chance, so a secure fenced yard or a home with no small children, who don't know to not leave the door open, would be best. I know sit, lay, stay, and have been learning to dance. I like getting up on my back legs and twirling. I am always up to stretch on my family so I can get whole body massages and will not pass up a good belly rub or head scratch. If you would like to meet me, please call Teri at 630-897-7454. The adoption fee is $225.
