ARRIVING INTO JFK ON JAN. 28TH FROM CHINA
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION IN THE NY/NJ AREA
As many of you know, I had been rescuing dogs from the meat markets in China and flying them to NY for adoption until the ban during Covid. A fellow rescuer I’ve worked with in the past has her rescue in San Francisco. Flight volunteers are few and far between and travel on the same flight as the dogs to get them onboard and bring them through customs, without them we cannot get dogs here. . When a flight volunteer is found it means another dog avoids being someone’s meal as they eat over 10 million dogs a year in China. On January 28th I’m happy to announce that a very sweet 2 yr old miniature poodle mix will be arriving to JFK airport. She has been renamed Mochi and she absolutely loves people and dogs. She has had her completely vetting done with all vaccines, spay, microchipped and international health exam to fly. I’ve got many happy adopters of these dogs so it’s been very successful. So if you are looking for a wonderful companion, please fill out an application at www.hi5dogrescue.org.
For any questions regarding Mochi, Please Contact Marilyn Chang - 510-987-6310 or 646-287-6829

More about this rescue
We rescue animals out of high kill shelters in NYC, China and South Korea meat trade, and the south,as well as local owner surrenders. Our primary focus are small (under 20 lbs) dogs, many are Chihuahua/mixes, Maltese/mixes, Poodle/mixes, Shitzu/mixes, Lhasa Apso/mixes and Terrier Types, along with Standard Poodles/Mixes and Sapsali’s. It is our way of giving back by saving lives, rehabilitating medical needs and re-homing. We also are trying to stop Pet Stores sales of puppy mill pups, which may carry many genetic defeats as well as being unhealthy, these sales promote cruelty and abuse for the parents who are used strictly as breeding "machines" with no regard for their health and well being. To learn about puppy mills, please go to YouTube and search for HSUS Or puppy mills. Please adopt, don't shop!
