My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Golden Eyes (GE for short, such beautiful eyes) is one of our “Special Needs” kitties, he was born with a condition known as Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH) which is the incomplete formation of the cerebellum portion of the brain. This happens went the mother or kitten is very sick and does not get the nutrients needed to complete the formation of the cerebellum. This impacts the cats ability to walk, but has absolutely no impact on their health otherwise. Sometimes known as “wobble cats”,

GE has many endearing quirks and will provide years of fun antics and warm laps. CH kitties live normal lives and do not need to go to the vet any more often than more “normal” kittens and cats. GE was a little over 3 years old when he came to us, and is only mild to moderately impacted by CH. he has no problems using his litterbox and can jump up on things like a sofa or bed without any issues. As with so many CH cats, GE seems to have been blessed with an extra portion of love;, he is such a loving boy and is soft and sleek. As far as he is concerned, he is perfect, and one of the sweetest babies you will ever meet. And like all of our furbabies, GE is looking for his forever home. If you are open to falling in love with this most special boy, please contact Meowtown. He will steal your heart.

More about this rescue

Meowtown Animal Rescue of Fort Worth rescues cats and kittens from local Fort Worth neighborhoods. We foster all of our animals in our homes, we do not have a physical location. All of our cats/kittens are fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, socialized and loved in their foster homes and then adopted out to their furever homes.
