Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Forever home needed! Kiowa is a ~6 year old, ~80 lb Malamute/Husky mix. She is very sweet, playful and friendly!

Requirements:
-Fully fenced yard 6ft+ outside of the city (not available for adoption in King County)
-Breed experience

Kiowa is a great girl ready to join her active forever family. Kiowa is smart and loves to play! She would make a great adventure buddy. Though she is active, she has a great demeanor and can relax with her people after some activity.

Kiowa is playful and would do best with another dog in the home. She does better with males so we are looking for a male dog of like size in the home for her companion! She is used to spending her time in a play yard with other playful huskies!

Kiowa is spayed, microchipped and UTD on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $450.

Interested in adopting one of our rescue dogs? Here are the steps to a successful adoption:

1) Review the dog's picture and bio;

2) Fill out an Adoption Application

3) We will screen your application* and call you to tell you more about the dog,

4) A Meet and Greet will be set up. All members of your household (dogs and humans) must attend the meet and greet;

5) If you are approved for adoption, pay the adoption fee, sign the adoption contract and receive the dog's health records;

6) Love and adore your new dog!

Our organization - Forever Home Dog Rescue - values your privacy. Any and all application information is private and will not be shared outside of our organization with ANY other party. After a decision is made on a dog, all applicant and adopter personal information will be disposed of by shredding. We do not retain any application information past adoption in an effort to preserve the security and privacy of applicants. Vaccination, microchip and medical records of adopted and current dogs can be accessed under the dogs name and month of adoption.

More about this rescue

Forever Home Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We receive dogs from owner surrenders and overcrowded shelters. All of the dogs are housed in private, loving foster homes or a kennel in the greater Seattle area. We assess their behaviors and health and help them relax during their transition to a forever home. The dogs remain in foster care or in our kenneling facility until they are adopted. All of the dogs are/or will be spayed or neutered, microchipped and are current on routine vaccinations.

Forever home dog rescue is not a shelter and thus you cannot see the dogs without an appointment.

We need foster homes! Thinking about adopting a dog, but not sure yet about which breed or if you're ready for the long-term commitment? Consider becoming a foster parent. A foster dog placement can be anywhere from two weeks to several months. We provide any dog supplies you may need and cover all necessary medical costs for your foster dog. You provide the love and attention and bring the dogs to adoption events at least twice per month.
