Koi is a star here at Ayr Animal Hospital for many reasons, but she is famously known for her gorgeous, soft and silky coat, and for her sweet/sassy attitude!
Koi greets clients and loves to be around the staff at the clinic. She does well with other cats/dogs and children that have been to the clinic adore her. She loves to run around chasing her bells and other toys. Koi is very curious and adventurous; she is always finding new spots for her afternoon naps and enjoys a cuddle! She has a very easy-going personality and would make a wonderful addition to many types of homes!
We do advise her new family of one issue in particular... Koi came to us with a constipation problem that has never completely resolved. Periodically, Koi tries to have a bowel movement and can’t finish the process, requiring manual extraction of a piece of stool from her rectum. She requires medication and a special diet as well. Koi would benefit from additional testing to determine the exact cause of her problem but most of all, she needs a loving and caring environment where she can be her best self!
