`She is such a good girl and will make a great dog for the right family. She doesn’t make a great first impression and can lunge/jump at new people which turns them off, but 5 minutes after meeting someone, she settles right in and becomes their best friend. She would do best in a home without small children—not because she doesn’t like them but she is so strong and young that she might jump on them and scratch or knock them over. She is doing much better with leash training and knows sit. She LOVES all other dogs and is a rockstar at doggie daycare. She is 100% potty trained and sleeps in her bed quietly all night. We are working with her on her introduction skills but someone familiar with young, active dogs would be able to help train her on this, too.
She does have a lot of energy and needs daily exercise or else she will be destructive. At only a year old, she loves to play tug of war with humans and dogs, go for long walks and play with friends at daycare. She lives with two, smaller dogs in foster home and three older kids. She knows how to load up in a car very well now and will sit in the backseat nicely while the car is driving. She’s a great snuggler and will sleep next to you with her favorite toy if you let her!`
