My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Betty Beauty came to us from a home who could no longer keep her, by no fault of her own. This is a nice girl who prefers the company of people and has been fostered with other dogs, but can be very grouchy towards them. We think in time she could manage to live with other dogs, but at this point would prefer to be an only dog because that is what she is used to in her previous home. She is very sweet but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. Her approx. birth date is 02/14/20 and she currently weighs 12.5#. This girl would make a nice addition to a home low activity who wants a companion.
She has been vet. checked, spayed, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. She was heart worm negative. She had a dental and an umbilical hernia repair.
Her adoption donation is $400 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Please note that any additional funding collected for this pet goes back into our medical acct. to provide for other dogs in need. We do not ship or transport.

Submit an initial inquiry on the pet you are interested in.

Submit an application once your inquiry has been received.

Interview

A phone interview with an adoption coordinator is required.

4.
Meet the Pet

If approved, we will set up an appointment for you to meet the pet. If everything goes well, you will be able to take them home the same day

Sign Adoption Contract

Pay Fee

We do NOT accept personal checks. We accept cash, certified check, money order and debit/credit cards (with a 3% processing fee).

Take the Pet Home

3 references and a vet reference is required. If you do not own your home, landlord approval is also required.
