My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Koda is approx. one year old, 45-54 pounds. He is VERY friendly, and loves people and dogs of all ages! He’s cat-friendly. Doesn’t do well with farm animals like chickens or goats. Gentle but has a good bit of energy. He’s working on potty and crate training and has done well with no accidents. Does bark in his crate at first but then settles for the night. He is not at all aggressive nor does he food guard towards dogs or people and has been very passive, letting children ages 2 and 4 pet him even while he eats. No issues around other dogs either. Koda would do great with a family with children of any age. He would do great with other dogs or by himself. He seems to adjust quickly and learns quickly but does require more basic obedience and house training. He’s mastering sitting now and gets very excited for treats. He likes Nyla Bones for a toy and hasn’t “puppy chewed” anything that wasn’t meant for him. Koda is snuggly but enjoys playing and going for trail walks. He has a very passive and sweet temperament once the initial excitement of the day is calmed. To adopt sweet Koda for your own please go to our website to start the adoption process https://www.southernskiesrescue.org/adoption-application Koda has been fully medically vetted; neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm tested microchipped.
