My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I’m Eleven! I got my name from the Stranger Things show, I got this name because I’m pretty super, and I have beaten all the odds to be here today, and no matter what challenges I’ve faced, I just keep getting STRONGER!

I came into MABBR with all my siblings from a rural animal control shelter, we were saved from a pretty neglectful situation. I was the smallest of all my siblings, and I was born with a pretty serious heart defect, that meant that if I didn’t get surgery, I might not make it.

Luckily I landed in a foster home, that would help me get strong enough for surgery! In my foster home, I live with 6 other dogs, 3 cats, and 2 young kids! My very best friend is my human foster sister, she’s 2 years old and she and I just get each other! We have so much fun playing, cuddling, and exploring the world together! I also love my foster brother Nuke, he’s a Shepherd mix and he taught me how to wrestle like a pro! So I’d really love a home with a big dog to play with, because I may be small, but I AM MIGHTY!

I’m very smart and super athletic! I’d love an active home! I currently play at doggy daycare while my foster mom works, so I’m not very used to being home alone a lot, I’m kennel trained and doing super well on potty training. But I’d prefer a home where my person is home most of the time, or would be willing to take me to doggy daycare a few times a week.

I’m recovered from my surgery now, everything went great, you would never even know I was sick! My doctor said I will have a normal, happy and healthy life! So now I’m ready to find a forever home and a family of my very own. Do you think that could be you?

More about this rescue

Welcome! MABBR was created by a group of bully breed enthusiasts to save these delightful but often misunderstood dogs. Not only does MABBR rescue and find homes for homeless bull breeds such as American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, American Bulldogs, Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Bull Mastiffs, mixed breeds, and other Mollasser-type dogs, MABBR also focuses on education, outreach, and assisting cities with drafting safer and more effective breed-neutral dangerous dog laws.
