My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Neo!

This HUNK is looking for his furever home. He’s a big guy weighing about 70 pounds, but his heart is even bigger! He was in a rural shelter for two years where he was constantly passed over by adopters because of his looks. Their loss; this boy has quickly become a volunteer and staff favorite! Neo does well with other dogs, but is quite scared of the felines, so a cat free home would be best. He is shy when first meeting people, but once he loves you, he REALLY loves you. He gives great hugs and all the kisses! He would be in paradise if he could spend his days snuggling with his human and romping around the back yard, especially in the snow! Apply to meet this boy today, who could say no to that face?!

More about this rescue

Welcome! MABBR was created by a group of bully breed enthusiasts to save these delightful but often misunderstood dogs. Not only does MABBR rescue and find homes for homeless bull breeds such as American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, American Bulldogs, Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Bull Mastiffs, mixed breeds, and other Mollasser-type dogs, MABBR also focuses on education, outreach, and assisting cities with drafting safer and more effective breed-neutral dangerous dog laws.
