His tripod status doesn’t slow him down, and he’ll love you to the moon and back! Axel, an approx 2-year-old, 42 lb Bulldog mix (best guess!) is a super affectionate and friendly little guy who loves, loves, loves his humans, will dance with happiness when you come home from work or a quick trip to the store, is very good with the kids in his foster home (his enthusiastic love might be too much for tiny tots), and enjoys taking walks. He gets along with other dogs but isn’t overly interested in playing with them, so a chill canine sibling would be his best fit. We also think he’d be thrilled to be an only dog who can soak up all the human love! Axel is microchipped, vaccinated, and neutered, and his adoption fee is $600. * Axel is being treated for heartworm, and he will be as good as new in no time. Heartworm is NOT contagious to other dogs or people. *

Ollie's Angels Animal Rescue is a rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of abused and neglected dogs across the country. Ollie's Angels does not determine whether a life is worth saving based on age, special needs, or physical condition. In our eyes, every animal deserves a second chance at life.

We believe that every dog, as well as every adopter, has a unique tale to tell. Our mission is to consider both the needs of our animals and their humans to find the best possible match for each life we save. Adopting a dog is a very emotional experience, and we are committed to treating all of our adopters with respect and kindness throughout the adoption process.

Our special foster program gives us the chance to get to know each dog on a personal level. This helps us to select the perfect home for each individual dog based on his/her needs and personality. Each and every animal we save is adopted into a safe and loving forever home where he/she will be a cherished member of the family. Prior to being placed in a new home, all of our animals receive the highest quality medical care, as well as being spayed/neutered, microchipped, and updated on vaccinations.
