Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Looking for a quiet and gentle companion? Meet Star. She is a very unassuming dog, who at first doesn’t seem interested in people. She will be laying on her bed, and slowly she’ll decide to lift up one leg and show you her belly for some belly rubs. After Star is sure you’re kind, she’ll get up and consent to going for a walk. On walks she is not at all concerned about other dogs, preferring to sniff around and walk along, just doing her own thing. Once in a while, she’ll stop and look back at you, as if to say: it would be fine if you pet me now! And so you should. Come meet the lovely and sweet Star before she’s gone.
Star is currently in a foster home. If you're interested in her, please email KSwanson@cityofberkeley.info First, we'll set up a virtual meeting with their current foster family via phone, Zoom, or Facetime, to provide you with more detailed information. Then, if you feel that Star might be a good adoption fit, shelter staff will gladly coordinate an up-close and personal meet and greet with your potential family member. Thank you for your support!
