My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, will you please be my purfect Valentine? My official name is Garfield, but my foster Mom calls my Lil Bub. I am the an orange marmalade, 3-year old ginger, tabby-n stripped male. My former family moved and left me behind. I was really sad but so happy the rescue took me back to an inside house again. I am a bigger guy, weighing 12.5#'s of pure love waiting to be with you. Orange guys like me, are known for how affectionate, loyal and family oriented we are. I adore my people. I want to be where ever you are, and at the same time I am not needy. Hopefully that makes sense. I simple adore chin scratches and petting. If you are sitting on the couch or floor, I will soon be there to keep you company. If you have a laser light or a feather on a pole, I will enjoy some play time with you. I would so much enjoy a screened in patio or sun-room. I love to smell the outdoors and watch the birdies or squirrels. I make little sounds while watching nature. I pretend I am outside and I can sneak up on the critters. I will crouch down and my butt will wiggle in excitement. At night, move over, I will be in bed cuddling with you, too. I will need to do patrols of the house at night to ensure my family is safe from the outside creatures of the night, but no worries, I will come back to you. I am neutered, litter trained, I get along well with female kitties, and dogs would be on a case by case basis. I am micro-chipped, which is an added perk adopting from Snow Camp! Please request an adoption application, by clicking the request information button, or text the adoption coordinators, Bev @ 262-894-5975 or Carrie @ 801-550-9231. Once you request an application, please check your spam email folder for our application within 24 hrs. If haven't received the application, please text us. Or go to this web address to fill out the application on your phone, https://snowcampfurever.com/contact-us. If you would like to see all the kitties, from adults to kittens available at Snow Camp, click this link, https://snowcamp.rescueme.org/. The rescue offers a two-week trial adoption to make sure I am a great fit for you. How could I not be? I am a happy, orange tabby guy. The rescue is offering a Valentine Day Adoption special, my adoption fee was $125, but if you adopt me by 1/31/24, they will take $25 off. How awesome is that! I am looking forward to being your purfect Valentine...signed Lil Bub.

More about this rescue

We rescue kitties from high kill animal shelters and community kitties, take in strays and owner surrendered kitties as we have space available. We provide them love and compassion with private foster homes. All of our beautiful kitties are fully vetted, vaccinated, de-wormed, ears checked for ear mites and cleaned, provided flea medication, as well as microchipped.

We also take in feral kitties, fully vet them and they live their life at our fenced sanctuary with the rescue owner. The kitties are cared for by Karin, a lady with a passion for helping kitties to live their life to the fullest. The sanctuary also takes kitties no one wants like black cats, and the ones no one wants.
