From stray to snuggle sidekick, Navajo will wiggle his way into your heart!

In late January, Navajo was found as a stray in a local neighborhood and brought to ACS for care. After spending six days in the kennels, the amazing Ms. M stepped in and became his foster parent. Now, Navajo is thriving and enjoying life to the fullest.

In his temporary home, Navajo has been charming everyone with his heartwarming personality. A social butterfly, he loves hanging out with his doggy pals, and while his behavior around kids is yet to be observed, he`s a laid-back companion for adults.

Navajo`s favorite things include bones and treat puzzle toys. He`s known for his wiggly behind and occasionally acts like he`s blowing kisses when he`s excited to see you.

Animal Care Services (ACS) does not accept online submission of adoption applications. All adoptions are on a first come, first served basis.

1. Tour the kennels and find a pet you’re interested in. The shelter staff can help you get acquainted with your new friend.
2. Bring in the family (even the four-legged members) to meet your prospective pet.
3. Once you've made a decision, head to the ACS Adoption Center to complete your adoption.
NOTE: Adoptions are processed 30 minutes prior to closing time.

We include the following services in the adoption fee:
Spay and neuter surgery
Lifetime registered microchip & tag
Rabies vaccination
Flea and tick prevention
First round of vaccinations
NOTE: Pets under the age of four months will need to be brought back to receive their rabies shots.
