My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rocky comes from a rough background and needs a patient, understanding person that has time and energy to help him be the "bestest" doggie! :)

Rocky is a pit bull mix, about 65 lbs, 2-3 years old, neutered, current shots, and microchipped. He listens well and I think he can be easily trained. He loves everyone he meets! He would be happy to hang out with you on the couch and cuddle. He adores head scratches, chew toys & running in the yard (needs a yard with a secure fence).

Rocky does need training. He does jump onto people, pulls/lunges when leash walking, and will guard his toys/food. He gets along with some dogs when *properly introduced*. Cats are a nope! He has not been around children, but don't think it'd be a problem once he's trained not to excitedly jump on people.

Rocky would do best as an only pet in a home with older children and a secure fenced yard to run and play.
He is a beautiful, sweet dog and he deserves a safe, loving home.
