What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Looking for a velcro dog who is also head of the neighborhood watch? Look no further! Brutus will keep a watchful eye on you AND everything happening inside & outside of your home. With over 150 vocal sounds, you'll never get bored of what he has to say.
Brutus had a sad start to life, he & his siblings were thrown in a trash bag & abandoned. He came to us when he was just one month old. We were hoping to keep him, but unfortunately his high energy & loud vocals are too much for our autistic son.
Brutus has been raised with our female catahoula, & our male cat, & has been the dominant one since day one. He gets along great with the cat, playing & herding him. While he does get along with our dog, he has shown aggression, tends to invade her space, take what she has etc. For this reason, we recommend him being the only dog.
He has been around kids under 5 short term & did well, but we're not sure how he would do long term with young children.
