My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

These two brothers love to run and play . They need to be fed separately they want everybody’s food. They are big but very much puppies. They are working on potty training and walking on a leash. They should start training soon but are looking for their new family. They are mixed with Aussie, shepherd, heeler and they don’t know the dad’s breed since momma was in with 40 other dogs. They are very food motivated. They are fully vetted and microchipped. They probably need an area to run since they are larger dogs. If you would like to meet either of them you can call or text 816-809-0217 or email Elise at Barkindogs1@aol.com or call (816) 898-5646. They look very similar so I’m posting them together but are being adopted single.

Additional adoption info

We have the adopter fill out a application. There may be additional information needed as a home visit, calling your vet to check references.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We go to several adoption events but if you call, text or email I can setup a time to meet you to show you any of the dogs currently at the rescue.

More about this rescue

I fostered dogs for other shelters for many years. I have recently moved to an area where I can handle more animals and decided to start an Australian shepherd rescue. We also have other herding breeds and mixed breeds of dogs.
