Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Feb 2024: Miranda is begging for a home of her own. She is tired of rescue life and wants her own couch and family. She is a fantastic dog, house trained and crate trained. She has decent energy for short periods and is working on her leash skills. Yard with 4' fence be fine or she could be leashed. walk. You will have to be patient to walk her, she does pull still. We call her "house hippo" :) She is happy girl who sits in your lap ! and does great with dogs of all sizes.

Adopt her and change her life forever. She lived in deplorable conditions and was a felony cruelty charge to the person in charge of "caring" for her. Last picture is her intake to our rescue. So thin and feeding 7 puppies!!

10/1/23 Miranda is ready for a home of her own! She is a great dog, happy and has decent energy. She is likely house trained. She does need a fenced yard, she loves being able to run around. She is now close to 50 lbs.

Miranda is part of the 90 dog hoarding case in Butler County. She was found in a crate with her 7: 8 week old puppies covered in urine and feces. She had no food or water. She fed those babies and took care of them even though she was not being cared for.
She is approx. 4 years old and 44 lbs. She is a sweet girl.

Freds Mission Rescue has an adoption radius of 100 miles from Cincinnati. All dogs are fully vetted, altered, current on flea/tick/heartworm/wormer, and microchipped. The rescue does not adopt out to properties with invisible fences or tie outs.
