My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Racquel  is a beautiful, sweet dilute calico who would love to find a loving home.  She approaches people, asks for lots of pets, and   purrs away!  She gave birth to a litter of five kittens in a backyard, and now that they are big enough to be adopted,  she has decided  that she wants to be an indoor cat.

Prior to adoption, all cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, and microchipped.

This cat is in a foster home.  Please fill out our online adoption application and we'll set you up to meet him as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adopt

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
