My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rascal is a little cautious of new situations. But adapts fairly quickly. He loves to perch in the highest place he can find and watch what's happening below. Then he will descend for meal time and human attention as he sees fit (although he's always down for some ear scratches!). You may also find him prowling around the house looking for catnip toys or scouting out his next watch tower. Rascal will occasionally talk to us by letting out a meow when he wants something from us but we aren't paying attention. It's nothing too excessive though :) His daily routine task is to conquer his human's lap, snuggle, and purr until he is content. Rascal would do well in a home by himself; he likes all the attention to himself. He would also prefer no dogs or older, calmer dogs as the young wild dogs sometimes overwhelm him.

Rascal is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for their age.

More about this rescue

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
