*Approximately 5 years old as of January 2024.
-This boy was surrendered to us when his family didn’t have time for him anymore. When he got here, we realized he’d been housed his entire life in a horrific all wire cage that was absolutely filthy and filled with poop and pee. His coat was atrocious :(. He’s slowly learning about the good life here and regular grooming and dust baths to make his coat better! He is super sweet and doesn’t mind being petted or even held! He absolutely loves chin scratches, treat, and apple sticks. Just a genuinely good little boy who just needs a family who will love him for the rest of his life (chinchillas can live 20 years with proper care!). We do not recommend chinchillas for children as they do not make good kids pets for children under 12. They require a specialized habitat with multiple levels, specific food, and regular grooming care.
