My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, My name is Julie. I was surrendered to SFAAR by my owner. She had said that I was getting picked on by the resident cats & hiding a lot. Unfortunately with SFAAR I haven't adapted well. They've found I do best with no cats or just one that won't bother me. They have a feeling I was the trouble maker in the previous home. I have been extremely nervous & shy in my foster home. Its been about 6 months and am finally starting to come around. I'm looking for a cat experienced owner that understands I may hide, shy away from attention for awhile. Persistance & patience will pay off with me as I now follow my foster mom around and allow pets. I would not do well in a busy environment with a lot cats and definitely not kids(unless older). SFAAR is willing to adopt me into the right home that understands I may not be the purrfect companion to start but with a little patience & TLC I know I will do my best to show you how much I do appreciate you giving me a second chance at a forever home.

More about this rescue

St. Francis Animal Rescue (SFAAR) is a volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are dedicated to rescuing and rehoming abandoned, neglected, stray and surrendered dogs and cats. Until they are adopted, the pets in our program live in loving foster homes as part of the family while we learn about their personalities, behaviors and temperaments. Foster families work with their animals to teach them good manners, care for any medical problems, and address any behavior issues. This information helps our adoption counselors match the perfect pet for you and your family.
