Rocky and Rustys Redemption Rescue was all started because two innocent dogs "Rocky and Rusty" were poisoned. After the devastating loss of Rocky, their family decided they wanted to save as many helpless dogs, in horrible situations as they could.

The mission and vision for Rocky and Rustys Redemption Rescue is to save dogs of all sizes and all breeds by getting them healthy and placing them into loving, forever homes, one wag at a time.

We are an all-volunteer, foster home based, certified 501(c)(3), state licensed dog rescue organization based in Wisconsin. We do not have a physical shelter. Instead, we operate through our loving foster homes, online databases, and adoption events.

The majority of our animals come from owner surrenders, Amish puppy mills, and shelters, where overcrowding of millions of healthy, friendly pets every year are euthanized.
We are committed to providing the dogs that come into our Rescue with the best care while they wait for their forever homes by acclimating them to life outside of cages and providing the appropriate veterinary care and training needed for each individual dog.

We believe we can make a difference... by saving them.. one wag at a time.
