Say hello to Dodger! This sweet boy is looking for his forever home where he has lots of toys to play with and a yard to run around in. If your dream day consists of plat tug-of-war, Dodger would love nothing more than to accompany you. Dodger would thrive with some patience so that he can slowly warm up to everyday life. Once he has the time to get comfortable, he loves to get attention and hangout with his people.

Additional adoption info

To adopt a cat or dog from PAWS Chicago:

- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a form of identification (license or state ID)
- Verify that you are allowed to have a cat/dog where you currently live.
- Be able to spend the time and resources necessary to provide the training, medical treatment and proper care for your cat.
- Bring along all family members (including children) to meet the cat/dog(s).
- Be able to take the cat/dog home on the day of adoption.
- Have the time to spend up to an hour with an adoption counselor to discuss the responsibility of owning a cat/dog and making it a lifetime commitment.

Adoption Fee:

- $150.00 for kittens
- $100.00 for cats 1-5 years of age
- $75.00 for cats 6-9 years of age
- $50.00 for cats 10 years and older
- $450.00* for puppies
- $350.00* for dogs 1-7 years of age
- $200.00 for dogs 8 years and older

*A $100.00 refundable training deposit is also required for each dog/puppy. This deposit is refundable upon completion of obedience training. You will have four months from the date of the adoption to complete a basic obedience class with your new puppy/dog. When you provide proof that your PAWS dog has completed a course, we will reimburse you the $100.00 deposit you submitted at the time of adoption.

Adoption Fee Includes:

- Spay/neuter surgery
- All age-appropriate vaccinations
- Microchip
- Lifetime guarantee if something happens to you or you can no longer care for your pet
- Support throughout the pets lifetime
