My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Chapssal, a 10-month-old male Jindo mix eagerly searching for my forever home. I may be a bit shy around new people, but once you offer me some tasty treats, I warm up quickly. I love being petted, cuddled, and I'll even show off some charming antics once we become friends.

I currently share my temporary home with other furry companion, and I tend to rely on dogs with me for comfort. I believe a household with other dogs would make me feel even more secure. When left alone, I might express my anxiety with some whimpering, so a family that understands separation anxiety would be perfect for me.

I'm great at focusing during walks and will happily trot alongside you. However, I get a bit frightened when other dogs approach, and busy streets with noisy cars are still a little overwhelming for me. I'm learning, though! Being a young pup, I have loads of energy. After a good walk, I love to relax and recharge.

While I won't guard my food from humans, I do growl if other dogs come too close. Meeting strangers might make me bark initially, but I'm well-behaved when it comes to indoor and outdoor potty habits. Oh, and did I mention I have a scar on one of my legs? It's a little reminder of my journey.

If you're looking for a furry friend who needs a bit of time to open up but promises a lifetime of love and loyalty, that's me! Come

Chenny's Happy Tails Rescue Canada is a not-for-profit group(Corporate name: 12023318 CANADA FOUNDATION) registered in Canada, based in Toronto, Canada.

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.

We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
Chenny's Happy Tails Korea rescues and rehabilitates dogs to make them ready to be adopted.
Chenny's Happy Tails Canada works on finding the best adopter for each dog who can provide them a forever loving home and reliable care.
