Meet Mary. Mary had a rough start to life and found herself in the local city kill shelter. Because of her shy and gentle nature, she did not get adopted through the shelter system, and CARE stepped in to help her. She’s been in foster care for a couple of months and has really come out of her shell. She loves other dogs, loves to snuggle with her people and Has learned basic manners of a house dog. She is 2 1/2 years old and is 12 pounds. Mary is a beautiful girl is now ready to find her permanent loving home.

This dog was rescued from a kill shelter or the streets and has been evaluated for medical and temperament to prepare for a forever home and is in a foster home in San Antonio, Texas* and is ready to fly to its final destination once adopted. The adoption fee of $995 covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, the kennel it travels in, and air transport. Please email adoptions@caretx.org
