My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adopt Phiol!

2 y. o., 10 pound neutered male Shih Tzu Mix

· Active, friendly, social butterfly
· Licking machine
· Loves his raw vegetable snacks, especially broccoli
· Sleeps with his human

Phil, the little cutie, is looking for his forever home & looking forward to his long hair growing back. Phil came to us with his hair painfully matted all over. He had to be shaved.

A playful, affectionate 2 year old, Shih Tzu mix boy, Phil likes going for walks & exploring the yard. Phil is generally a fan of people and likes to sleep with his human. He can be shy at first, but with time, treats & maybe a soft or squeaky toy, Phil shows his friendly side.

Phil gets along with the dogs in his foster home. He runs & plays a little with the big & medium size guys. There are no large dogs or cats in his foster home. Phil might some time before being comfortable with a big dog; with a laid back big dog that time could be short. It seems likely that he would not present a danger to cats, but a resident cat might be annoyed by Phil’s interest.

In all weather, Phil does like you to be outside with him. Phil would love a family who will regularly take him for walks and engage him in energetic play. He becomes an indoor zoomer when the outside temperature falls below 15 degrees. With his above average energy, a small dog secure fenced yard is a requirement.

You can see Phil active in videos & learn more about him on his public Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61555734784605, or search on "Phil of Heather’s Foster Dogs".

Phil is pee pad/house trained, neutered, microchipped & up to date on his vaccinations.
He will require regular professional grooming to keep him looking handsome & comfortably mat-free. So please keep this in mind when considering adopting him.

Phil’s adoption fee is $500.
