Mason is a shepherd mix that was found inside of Tractor Supply, apparently shopping for his new family!!
He is such a happy boy and so smart- I mean, SHOPPING at TRACTOR SUPPLY for a DOG LOVING FAMILY is PRETTY SMART :)
He has picked up our key training words in the house so fast, we have to make up new ones!!
He knows when I say go to bed that means he needs to go to the kennel. He is treat motivated and can be trained easily. He already knows a fews commands, is housebroken, crate trained, great with kids, great with other dogs and plays very gentle with the smaller puppies.
He also loves to run around the yard with the larger dogs and can jump over them with ease.
He needs an active lifestyle and gives kisses while learning to cuddle. He is also the perfect sized boy, most Shepherds are about 75-100# and that is a LOT of dog and HAIR!! He is a cute and compact size at about 45#. PERFECT PORTABLE SIZE :)
He would love to have his own active family, adventures galore and then cuddling on the couch waiting for the new "Stranger Things" season to start :)

The higher prices for Purebred and/or highly desirable pets. Adoption application, adoption contract, return/foster agreement if dog doesn't work out in home.
We work hard to place dogs in the right homes, if the adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in Bexar county TX +usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal, help the adopter screen applicants and help facilitate finding another home for the dog.
