Tofu is a 1 year old Great Pyrenees that we adopted at 3 mo old. He was raised in a large house with a big, fenced in backyard where he could roam all day. We had to move for a new job and now live in an apartment. We have worked with a trainer to help him adjust to city life, but it has not been successful. We know that he will be much happier living with someone who is able to let him spend the majority of his time outside in a fenced in area. He is a very sweet and affectionate dog, but he does have some anxiety and fearfulness that has popped up since the move. He is also rather stubborn given he is a Pyr and does not have good recall. We believe his behavioral issues will resolve given more space and freedom. He has lived with another dog, but given the small space they butt heads. He can live with other dogs but it may take a while for them to acclimate and get along. Ultimately we want him to live a long and happy life and hope that another family is willing to give it to him.
