My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Tea is microchipped and her owner listed on the chip says they rehomed her because she was too anxious, but they say they don’t know who they rehomed her to. So she sat in the shelter, anxious now for 2 weeks bc no one cared enough to claim her. She’s very sweet, but probably needs a family with a flexible schedule where someone can be home with her or a family who will get her proper vet care and medication to ease her anxiety. Please call 804-966-9500 with any questions or if you want to meet her and be her hero.

Licensing your dog will help protect him/her from becoming just another statistic. Annual license fee is only $6.00, if you have not purchased your 2011 County License, please do so right away, it's the law!!! Please help us increase the number of pets returned to their owners; keep the County License fastened on your dog's collar. If you lose your tag a replacement is available from the Treasurer's Office for the cost of $1.
