My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you ready for a cuddly puppy?

Splash may be your girl! She is 5 months old and is looking for her forever home. Splash is one of a few dogs with us who is staying with her first owner while we look for her home so we are also looking for a foster family for her. (Message us if you are interested in fostering Splash).

She is playful, sweet, LOOVVVEEESSS scratches and kisses, and is a really wonderful girl. We think that she will reach about 60-70 pounds when full grown. She is a bully breed type puppy- whether that is American Bulldog, Staffordshire Terrier, American Bully, or American Pitbull Terrier, we do not know. But we can feel all of the loose skin that she has to grow in to! She will be a big girl! She already weighs 45 pounds!
She is good with other dogs and kids, but has not been around cats yet. She LOVES kids and plays with her owner's grandkids whenever they come over. She also loves to play with her four legged friends all day long!

Splash is mostly living outside right now on good days, so she has not had much of a chance to be housetrained, but she is crate trained and sleeps through the night. She will need some home manners with her new owners.

More about this rescue

The Fayette County Humane Society (FCHS), staffed entirely by volunteers, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supported entirely by individual and corporate donations. Because we do not have a shelter, all of the animals we rescue live in temporary foster homes until they are adopted. We believe that all companion pets have intrinsic value and should be treated with the reverence and care they deserve.
