My story

Little Bear is a good looking gentle Great Pyrenees mix boy. He is not large. Only at about 55 lbs medium size with soft GP fur and he loooves to roll over for belly rubs. Little Bear was rescued on his last day of life from a high kill shelter where he was abandoned by his owners after years of neglect and not paying any attention to him. He was scheduled to be euthanized after he caught kennel cough at the shelter when we drove 6 hours to his rescue. He soon has become a favorite at our facility being affectionate and people oriented.

Little Bear is med age, possibly 5 years old or so. He is very active and like a good run around. He doesn’t seem to have many GP tendencies and acts more like an indoor lounger. So if you have livestock he will not be a good candidate as a working dog :)
He is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, dewormed. Very healthy with no known medical issues and is very agile and active..

Little Bear would do best in a home with no other male dogs. Cats, small dogs, small kids compatibility unknown and we prefer not to guess and take shots in the dark.

He needs a place in a quiet location with some secure yard space where he can go potty and lounge, not in a busy city. Fencing at 5 ft height minimum. No apartments please. Experienced adopter would be great.
We offer foster to adopt programs if you need time to decide if it’s the right dog for your home.
Transports are available, short and long distance. We will not transport dogs however if you have other pets on property without prior introduction.
