What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Remus is an 8 year old dog that weighs around 40 pounds. He has manageable arthritis (he takes Cosequin daily and Carprofen as needed - usually cold/damp weather). He absolutely loves people (especially his family). He is a guard dog and, in general, doesn't get along with other animals. For that reason, it is best that he would be an "only." We would not recommend a family with young children although he is good with older children. He has had training and is trainable. He needs minimal exercise.
Remus will come with beds, toys, food, etc.
Remus was DNA tested (using Wisdom Panel DNA) and shows the following 5 top breeds:
17% Bull Terrier
15% American Pit Bull Terrier
15% Chow Chow
14% Chihuahua
6% American Staffordshire Terrier
