My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chloe, a pretty 5 year old snow white girl who was adopted from us 5 years ago. She lived a wonderful life in her home until her owner passed away. Chloe really checks all the boxes for being a great dog: housetrained, good with children, okay with other animals, playful, stays in a fenced yard but kept indoors, good with car rides, and affectionate. She is around 65 lbs. and was very well cared for in her last home. This sweet, friendly girl is hoping to find another person or family who will love her just as much as her last one did. Chloe is at BAS and she is ready to meet you!

Dog Day zout, 4/27/24:
Chloe was lovely! She was very excited at first but once she settled down, she was mellow and sweet, and just happy to be with people

Volunteer notes, 4/22/24:
Chloe is a playful girl with lots of energy and affection. She was treat-motivated and willing to perform tricks for treats. She loved chasing balls and investigating when other dogs were nearby.

Dog Day Out, 4/20/24:
We let Chloe get all her energy out and just run around (on a leash of course), sat and relaxed by the lake, made someTikTok videos together, and went to Starbucks to get her a pup cup!
She was soooo sweet!!! A squirrel ran right past us and even though her ears perked up she did not even attempt to run towards it! She is an amazing mix of a ball of energy and will do fun things, but will also snuggle up and sit on your lap.

Dog Day Out, 4/13/24:
Chloe is the sweetest and most playful pup! We went on a long walk around Burlington City Park and she loved every minute of it. She can be a little strong on leash at first but settles down after getting some of her wiggles out. She is a great listener and will follow your lead. Chloe did not bark the entire time I had her. She also knows `sit` (especially if there`s a treat involved) and takes treats very nicely. Chloe does great in the car! She jumped right in and stayed in the backseat the entire car ride. She always waited for the okay from me before getting out of the car. Chloe greeted everyone we passed with a tail wag and loved to say hi! She is such a cuddle bug and thinks she is a lapdog :) She is much more interested in being pet than playing with toys. Chloe would love to live somewhere with a fenced-in yard to rip around in and someone who will give her plenty of attention. It`s hard not to smile being around Chloe, she has so much love to give!

Dog Day Out, 4/5/24:
