My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a pair of older cats? Gracie and her brother Jinx were returned because the owner is moving into a care facility in another state. Adopted as kittens, they are now 8 years old. The owner has given us the following information about them:

Gracie is friendly and lovable to nearly everyone she meets. She will lick your arm and nibble, but only in affection. She has never broken skin. Once she really likes you, she may lick the tip of your nose. She comes when called by her name. She is curious about whatever her human is eating.

Jinx is a sweet natured boy. He will butt your hand with his head when he wants his head rubbed. He likes being brushed. He's very dog-like.

They both enjoy treats and canned food. Both very nice cats!

Their sister is Lizzie.

Our Mission Statement.....
Friends of Coos County Animals, Inc. (FOCCAS) is organized exclusively for charitable purposes and specifically to support organizations and causes that promote animal welfare in our community. We started in August 2005. To date we have adopted about 300-400 animals a year. One of our biggest programs is our Community Outreach Program where we help the families in financial need to spay or neuter their pets or the stray/feral cats or even with emergency medical care or euthanasia.
