Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi friend, my name is Duke! You would never guess by my friendly demeanor but I was found abandoned in a drug den. People have wronged me before but I am resilient and still have a pawsitive outlook on life. I can come on a bit strong with other dogs but I am just super excited, so I may do well with a calmer friend. I don't know how I feel about cats but with proper introduction we may do well together. I am not fond of sharing high-value treats so any kids in the home need to be 10 and older who can respect my boundaries. I was left to fend for myself before, so I need to build back my trust in others. I have a lot of love to share so I hope that you will consider adopting a big, handsome, sweetheart like me!
--- If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm. --- The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center 848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603 Kennel #16516 717-917-6979 lancaster@pspca.org
