Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Killian was recently returned to us after being in his home for 8 years. He just turned 9, but he's still very healthy and energetic. He's around 55 lbs. He has tons of energy and loves to get outside and run and especially swim if possible. He's good with other dogs. He's lived with a cat all along and he's great with her. He's good with kids but he can be very excitable so very little kids might get knocked over. He absolutely loves attention and meeting new people but he can be nervous of some men at first. He has developed some skin allergies in his older age as well that are being managed. Killian has gone through a big change, but he's in foster care now and we know a loving family is out there for him to live out his senior days!
Killian is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
