Gongju is a 6 year old toy poodle, born August 22, 2017. GongJu (meaning “princess” in Korean) truly lives up to her name. She is spoiled for attention and wants nothing more than to smother you with her kisses and curling in your lap as you watch tv or read a book. GongJu does not do well with any dogs besides her big brother, BaoBei, and can be a bit of a bully to him. She is free fed and can get territorial about her food. Although she does not like other dogs, she absolutely loves people but needs to warm up to younger children as she was often picked up and dropped when she was a young puppy living in a pet cafe in South Korea. She knows basic commands such as sit and stay, and will never stray far from you during walks. It truly breaks my heart to have to rehome her, but with changes in our home, she and her brother deserve to be in a home where they can get all the love and attention they need. I hope that she can be adopted with her brother, a white Maltese named BaoBei.
