My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cilia came to us as a "feral" kitty but SURPRISE! She isn't feral at all! She is a sweet girl who is really coming out of her shell and learning people are good. She is beginning to ask for pets, and even butt scratches (her tongue sticks out and she licks the air when you do it!) She LOVES her cat house and will do well with someone who will pet her a lot and brush her. She also does well with other kitties so would be a great companion for your current kitty love!

Neshama Rescue is an all volunteer independent, 501(c)(3) animal welfare and education organization. Our mission is to promote the rescue and adoption of companion animals, with a focus on senior and special needs pets. We believe every soul has intrinsic value and we seek to help communities see that value to create a kinder world. Our goals are to rescue animals from shelters, place them in loving foster homes, and adopt them out to forever homes, as well as strengthen our communities’ education, laws and regulations regarding animal overpopulation and care.
