My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Two-year-old Freckles' life hasn't been easy. We found her hiding out in a hospital parking lot in Flushing and we are pretty certain that she's never had a family to call her own. This former lady of the streets is a gentle, shy girl who will take some time to settle into her forever home. According to her foster Mom, she hid at first and would poke her head out to make sure she wasn't missing a meal (she loves to eat!). But once she felt safe, her hiding days were over and she currently loves lounging in bed or on the sofa, spending sunny afternoons by the window and receiving lots of pets and affection from her person. Freckles would do best in a quiet home with a patient, experience cat person who'll let her come around at her own pace.
