Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Maxie (watch my videos)
PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet. Calling, emailing and using the “contact us” link is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog. Petfinder inquires are not sent to us.
Those eyes!!! Meet Maxie, about 1.5 year old mixed breed cutie and a little lady at only 21 pounds. She may be quite timid at first but warms up quickly once she feels safe. She just needs the right person to take it slow with her. She loves to snuggle and play, the best of both worlds. Maxie even likes to sleep under blankets. Maxie's ideal forever home would have another dog she can play with and no young kids.
Maxie is doing well reinforcing her housebreaking skills. She is a little nervous being left alone but learning about that too. Overall she is as sweet as can be and whoever meets her will fall instantly in love.
Maxie loves to play with dogs, watch her videos (may need a few minutes to warm up)..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrx-cb5hjCU

Because our dogs are in foster homes, applications are required prior to setting up any appointments. Calling or emailing may delay your consideration. Find our application on our website, almosthomedogs.org, then click on "Adopt" tab at top
We are a non profit no kill 501 (c)3 rescue. Please understand that we do our best to describe our dogs but often we rescue them with virtually no information about them and often our best educated guess can be challenging. Currently check, cash or venmo is preferred payment.
