Brandy is a sweet, senior cat with simple pleasures. She needs a soft bed to make biscuits and someone who loves to give face scratches. An added bonus would be a cat tree to scratch her nails and look at the world from a different height sometimes. The laser pointer is her favorite toy but she bonds with treats and lick-able snacks. She will make sure you know she wants attention with a focused stare and a gentle tap on the arm. When she is happy to see you or excited for dinner, she will chirp in excitement. Brandy loves a good brushing - around her face, especially. She would be okay with other cats who leave her alone, but would prefer to be the only cat in the home to live her relaxed lifestyle. She also prefers a clean litter box and likes to wash her paws in water. She can be a bit of a messy eater but she loves her wet food.

Adoption fee of $50 includes spay/neuter, FIV and FELV combo test, up-to-date rabies and distemper vaccinations, deworming treatments, flea treatments, and microchip.

More about this rescue

Shadow Cats TNR (SCTNR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting animals in need. Our mission is to establish and manage programs for the welfare of community cats, companion animals, and pet owners needing assistance, in collaboration with other community partners, rescue groups and shelters.

We specialize in controlling the community cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). As a result of the TNR process, we often acquire, along with feral cats, friendly and semi-friendly cats and kittens. We work to place these cats into appropriate homes through our adoption and barn cat programs. SCTNR seeks to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering all pets as well as controlling the cat populations in our county.
