Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet but shy, Upsa Duke (and his sister Upsa Daisy) will need a patient home and an understanding and gentle family. Their foster mom has been working with the siblings to get them more socialized, but they'll continue to need a quiet home, and more time spent learning to enjoy being with their people. They are not lap cats by nature but you can win them over with treats ... And if you talk them into sitting in your lap, they will eventually relax and purr. They both love to play with other cats... the favorite game is to push toys under a door and then wait for their friend on the other side of the door to return the toy to them. They will let you pet them when they are lounging around or in bed, but aren't yet comfortable with being petted when they are playing or have their backs turned. They would like a window with a bird feeder so they can chatter at the birds. They are ok with calm dogs and adore other cats, but would do best in a home without kids.
Upsa Duke's adoption fee includes his neuter initial rabies shot, applicable birth-to-one-year FVRCP/FeLeuk vaccinations, and microchip.
