My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I’m puppy LACI! I’m an 10 month old, spayed, 35 lbs, Labrador mix puppy. I’m a very sweet little girl who is microchipped, and current on my flea /tick and heartworm prevention. I was rescued from a local shelter, now, I am ready for my forever home. My foster family says that I am a well-behaved, balanced, practically perfect puppy, ! I am a great family dog, as I get along with everyone. I'm good with children, and I currently live with multiple male and female doggies, a small dog, and some kitties. I love the kitties, and I am very gentle with the kittlies, and love to snuggle with them. I’m crate trained, and potty trained on a schedule, using bells, and I also know sit, and wait. I’m a clever little lady, and I’m always eager to learn. I love to go on walks, up for any adventure, and I can run really fast! I’m so gentle, I love my human, and I will curiously walk right by you while I explore. I do get excited to go bye, bye, and may jump up to go, but I understand correction. I’m very playful, but kind of a couch potato too, as I love belly rubs. My favorite toy is a ball…and a Kong toy. I play well with the big dogs, as I’m a little submissive, and I’m gentle with the little guys. I can keep myself entertained for hours with my Nylabone, and Busy Bone. Pick me! I’d love to meet you! I’m located in Fayetteville, NC

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We require every adopter fill out an adoption application. After the application is reviewed, reference & vet checked, home visit completed and you have been approved, we then will accept a deposit on the dog of your choice and we do require the balance of the donation be paid prior to transport or 48 hours prior to delivery. All our animals are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay or neutered, microchipped and the microchip already registered to the adopter at time of delivery. Our belief in Heartworm Prevention is so essential to our dogs leading long, healthy and happy lives that we provide a years worth with each dog that is adopted and urge our adopters to get more for future years from us for a small $15 donation to the rescue to help cover costs of the preventative.

Adoption Donations:
$295 Adult Dogs
$395 Puppies
$200 Special Need Dogs

Go meet their pets

All of our animals are in foster homes. Once the application process has been completed, a meet and greet can be scheduled. Depending on the dogs first meet, we may schedule a second greet. We provide all adopters our version of “The two week Shutdown” which we stress and urge our adopters to follow.

More about this rescue

Mission Statement:
The purpose for which this corporation was formed is to provide animals that would otherwise be euthanized a chance at a full and happy life. We rescue animals from high kill shelters in the South, strays and owner surrenders when fosters are available. It is our intent that these animals be rehabilitated both physically and mentally, shown love and compassion, and then be found their forever homes. We are also dedicated to educating the public on the need for proper care for all animals, including but not limited to spay/neuter, vaccines & heartworm prevention. We believe in giving a helping hand and have had only positive Community Outreach outcomes.
