Hello, wonderful people! I'm Gazer, a delightful 10-year-old pup with a heart full of love and a wagging tail that's ready for a forever home to call my own.

Life has been an adventure for me. I was found as a stray, feeling a bit under the weather, but thanks to the care and kindness of my rescuers and foster family, I'm now healthy and ready to find the family that will cherish me forever.

I dream of a forever home where I can be your faithful companion through thick and thin. Despite my age, I have so much love to give and energy to share. I may have a few gray hairs, but my heart is as young as ever.

I love humans of all ages and all other pets. My calm demeanor makes me an ideal match for a family looking for a loyal and easygoing companion. My foster family says I am the perfect gentleman.

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

Go meet their pets

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
