Chalupa, spayed female, long hair torbie, born 4/9/23. Chalupa is the sweetest special needs kitty, having been exposed to toxoplasmosis and treated, with lasting effects in the neurological and breathing areas. But she is as happy as they come and don't have a thought she is even affected. She plays, she climbs eats, sleeps, and uses the bathroom quite normally. She also takes minimal medication like liver supplement. And she adores her treat time - she comes scurrying across the floor in her cute special way she does. Chalupa can live a long, healthy life. Won't you give a special needs kitty a chance at happiness in a loving home? Ask for as many pictures and videos as you want. You may just find yourself falling for her as I have. Thank you. The adoption fee is $100. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, PVR, Rabies, flea, tick, ear mite and worm treatment. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. Go to:

Rutherford County Humane Society is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that has been serving Rutherford County since 1979, with the mission to significantly improve the lives of unwanted and neglected animals, and to measurably decrease this number through our spay and neuter programs, volunteer foster homes, and outreach and education. We are an independent organization that works in collaboration with other area animal advocacy groups. All of our efforts depend on our passionately compassionate volunteers, and financial support from the community.
